Robert Lee Miller

Robert Lee Miller, 77, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (March 1, 2016) at his home. He was born August 23, 1938 in Cambridge, son of the late Decatur Miller and Marguerite (Wells) Miller. Mr. Miller had worked for many years as a nurse at the former Cambridge State Hospital and the former St. Francis Hospital. He later retired from Good Samaritan Hospital of Zanesville. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Cambridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Miller; and a daughter, Darlene Morris Horstman. He is survived by his wife, Veronica (Beckley) Miller, whom he married August 8, 1975; five sons, Larry Miller, Dale Miller, Jeff Miller, Milton Durben, and James Durben all of Cambridge; four daughters, Karen Miller of Cambridge, Sandra Henry of Newcomerstown, Sherry Blankenship of Birmingham, and Jane Guin of Omaha AR; two brothers, Decatur Miller Jr. of Lore City and David Miller of Zanesville; three sisters, Joann Shreve of Cambridge, Shirley Tarr of Florida, Anna Marie Gibbons of Indiana; 154 grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services & burial will be held Friday (March 4, 2016) at 2 p.m. at Center Cemetery with Pastor Sturman Moore and Pastor Wib Bragg officiating.
