Robert W. Owen

Robert "Bobby" W. Owen, 74, passed away on Sunday (November 7, 2010) after a brief illness. Bobby was the first-born son of the late William M. Owen and Garnet L. Molson. He was born August 27, 1936 at the Massillon City Hospital and the family resided in Navarre. Bobby came to the Cambridge Developmental Center in October of 1978 and remained a resident there until his passing. He made Moore Cottage his home. Bobby enjoyed relaxing in his recliner chair, listening to country music, walking outdoors, and riding through the countryside & his trips into town. He also enjoyed dining and visiting with his family and friends on Moore Cottage. He was a Protestant by faith and attended church services at Cambridge Developmental Center. He is survived by his Moore Cottage family and friends. No calling hours will be observed. A funeral service will be held Wednesday (November 10, 2010) at 1 p.m. Building 515 in the theatre of Cambridge Developmental Center with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
