Robert Perley Hall, 89, of Barnesville, died Saturday, September 10, 2016. Bob was born May 24, 1927 in Quaker City, son of the late Perley Hall and Grace (Forsythe) Hall-Danford. Bob was the owner of the I.G.A. in Barnesville and the owner/manager of Lakeland Foods. He liked to fish. He cherished his time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He attended the Sandy Ridge Church of Christ in Barnesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; Gregory Hall and a brother; Charles Hall. He is survived by his Wife; Jeanette (Carpenter) Hall; two sons, Steve (Ronda) Hall of Oak Island, North Carolina and Todd (Brenda) Hall of Barnesville; a daughter, Brenda Hall of Barnesville; two sisters, Marjorie Butler of Quaker City and Verlie Phillips of Columbus; five grandchildren, Jeremy Hall, Charity (Greg) Martin, Crissy (Eddie) DáAquilla, Cameron Hall, and Royce Hall; and three great-grandchildren, Caroline Martin, Rocco DáAquilla, and Mirabella DáAquilla. Visitation will be Tuesday (September 13, 2016) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Friends Cemetery in Quaker City. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Barnesville Hospital or to the Arthritis Foundation.
