Robert D. Price

Robert D. "Bob" Price, 62, of Salesville died Thursday (August 9,2018 ) at Barnesville Hospital.

He was born Nov. 17, 1955 in Canton, son of Mary (Miller) Price-Ballard of Woodsfield and the late Warren D. Price. Mr. Price retired as a construction worker. He enjoyed his 4-wheeler, mushroom hunting, woodworking and spending time with his kids and grandbaby.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an adopted son, Barry Price.

He is survived by his mother, Mary (Miller) Price-Ballard of Woodsfield; his beloved partner and soulmate, Alice Church; two sons, Jason Price of Old Washington and William Church of Salesville; an adopted son, Spencer Price of Florida; two daughters, Nadine Price of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Allie Branham of Quaker City; a brother, Randy Ballard of Lore City; a sister, Diane (Bob) Kearns of Laings; and two grandchildren, Thomas and Ember Rose.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (August 15, 2018) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.
