Robert N. Showalter

Robert N. Showalter, 74, formerly of Quaker City, passed away Tuesday (June 12, 2018) at Union Hospital, Dover.

He was born June 13, 1943 in Belmont County, son of the late Harry N. Showalter and Helen L. (Harding) Showalter.

A graduate of the former Batesville High School, Mr. Showalter had worked as an oil field laborer for many years.

He was a US Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; and two brothers, Henry and Harry W. Showalter.

He is survived by two daughters; a son; a sister; and several nieces & nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held.

Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
