Robert O. Stevenson

Robert O. Stevenson, 88, of Cincinnati, died Saturday (January 3, 2015) at Mount Washington Care Center, Cincinnati. He was born November 26, 1926 in Cleveland, son of the late Ralph H. Stevenson and Miriam (Osburn) Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in English from The Ohio State University. He retired from the manufacturing industry, where he had been in charge of material control for production and purchasing. Mr. Stevenson was a US Navy veteran, having served during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Camp) Stevenson; four sons, Robert Jan (& Mariellyn) Stevenson of Okemos MI, Richard Camp (& Debra) Stevenson of Cincinnati, Ralph Bradley (& Rita) Stevenson of Gilbert AZ, and Reade Osburn (& Rosemarie) Stevenson of Grove City; a brother, Richard L. (& Beverly) Stevenson of Henderson NV; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday (January 9, 2015) from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Robert's name to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4360 Cooper Road, Cincinnati OH 45242.
