Robert J. Watson

Robert J. Watson, 71, of Zanesville and formerly of Cambridge, died Friday (August 28, 2009) at Genesis Extended Health Care, Zanesville. He was born April 23, 1938 in Cambridge, son of the late Forest Watson and Hazel (Stillion) Watson. Mr. Watson was a former employee of Phillips Products and Belden Blake Brick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Erma Fahner and Edith McManus Finley; and four brothers, Roy, Homer, Kenneth and Donald Watson. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Glenna L. (Garber) McAdam Watson of Zanesville; a sister, Bonnie Daugherty of Newcomerstown; several nieces and nephews; and an extended family. Family and friends may call on Monday (August 31, 2009) from 1 to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
