Roger Allen Bean

Roger Allen "Skip" Bean, 68, of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (February 5, 2022) at his home.

He was born April 18, 1953, in Byesville, son of the late William and Doris "Weekley" Bean. Roger graduated from Meadowbrook High School, where he excelled in football and wrestling. He also attended Muskingum Area Technical College.

Roger worked for many years at Jackson Township and several other businesses in the Cambridge area. He was also an amateur Civil War Historian.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary (Judy) Hewison.

He is survived by his wife of forty- three years Patricia "Justice" Bean; one step son Mark (Laurie) Belus of Cambirdge; two brothers Kenny (Sandy) Hewison of Pleasant City, Randy (Barbara) Bean of Byesville; a grandson Mark (Kenya) Belus Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; one great- grandson Malachi; and many nieces and nephews.

Roger's family and many friends will fondly remember his zany sense of humor and his ability to solve any crossword puzzle. He was a devoted and caring husband and father.

No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
