Roger Clyde Patrick, 62, of Crooksville, died Monday (February 12, 2018) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He was born April 6, 1955 in Cambridge, son of the late Clyde Patrick Jr. and Lucille (Whitsel) Patrick. Mr. Patrick was a retired carnival manager. He was a mentor with the Perry County Boots and Saddles Club. He loved spending time with his animals. He attended the Old Washington United Methodist Church. He was a 1974 graduate of Zane Trace High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Paul, and David Patrick. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Messenger) Patrick, whom he married June 15, 1974; three daughters, Julie Patrick of Crooksville, Jennifer Patrick of Crooksville, and Jessica Patrick of Columbus; a son-in-law, Adam Chapman; six grandsons, Jeffery, Shannon, David, Cameron, Eli, and Daniel; eight "adopted" grandchildren, Kennedy, Elizabeth, Piper, Toby, Harley, Taevon, Baby John, and Athena; and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday (February 15, 2018) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and also on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held Friday (February 16, 2018) at 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Pastor Clayton Coffey officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
