Rollin Blair Larrick, 80, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday (August 20, 2006) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. He was born April 30, 1926 in Cambridge, son of the late Winfield M. Larrick and Nellie (Fairchild) Larrick. Mr. Larrick was a farmer. He was also a twenty-year employee of ODNR Forestry Department/Fire Division. He was a 1944 graduate of Old Washington High School. Mr. Larrick was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Byesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ellis, Wallace and Winfield Larrick; and three sisters, Helen Moore, Jean Thatcher and Mary Burris. He leaves his wife, Lorraine (Bates) Larrick of the home, whom he married on October 11, 1958; a son, Mike (Marsha) Larrick of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Amy (Terry) Pontius of Old Washington, Michael (Charlena) Larrick of Byesville, Keith Larrick of Cambridge, Erica Larrick of Lore City and Jessica (Dave) Dick of Cambridge; eleven great-grandchildren, Chelsie Ross, Justin Ross, Kylie Jo Pontius, Emmie Pontius, J.D. Nealey, Charlie Nealey, Allison Larrick, Alicia Larrick, Zackary Elston, Jordan Dick and Seth Dick; and numerous nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Wednesday (August 23, 2006) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Rost officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
