Ronald "Ron" W. Hill

Ronald W. "Ron" Hill, 75, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (November 15, 2011) at his home. He was born October 14, 1936 in Ashtabula, son of the late John Hill and Lillian Maud (Harper) Hill. Mr. Hill retired from Detroit Diesel, where he had worked as a line operator. He was a member of the Carpenters Union of California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Coralie. He is survived by his wife, Debby (Teach) Hill, whom he married November 11, 1991; a son, Robert (& Dena) Hill of Concord CA; two daughters, Gaynel (& David) Johnson of Zanesville and Ranel (& Daniel) Ferguson of Mt. Gilead; three brothers, Kenneth Hill of Alaska, John "Jake" Hill of Reno NV, and Armus Hill of Reno NV; a sister, Elizabeth Crago of California; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. No calling hours will be observed. A private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Ron's name to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
