Ronny Lee Hall

June 30, 1945 — October 23, 2021

Ronny Lee Hall, 76, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday (October 23, 2021) at his home, after a long battle with COPD.

He was born June 30, 1945, in Mulberry, Arkansas, son of the late Norma (Gabbard) and George Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcelline A. Hall, who died on September 1, 2019; a brother, Kenneth Hall; a sister, Donna Kay Dinsmore; and two step-sons, Donnie and Raymond Heskett.

Ronny was an auto-body mechanic for twenty years, and a glass installer for over thirty years.

He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather, brother and son.  He had a heart of gold and loved his animals, especially his cats.

He was a US Navy Veteran and avid fisherman.  He loved collecting coins, wood crafting, and golfing.  Over the years, he had many friendships, including his friend Gary Simmons, whom he worked with until his retirement from D & B Auto Glass.

He is survived by three sons, Ron Hall of Zanesville, Aaron (& Maryann) Hall of Uhrichsville, and Brian Hall of Antrim, four daughters; Dawnetta (& Marc) Downer of Hilliard, Patty (& Vince) Law of Port Washington, Laura (& Jay) Bird of Zanesville, and Sharman Burrier of Zanesville; a step-daughter, Jenny Heskett; three brothers; Randy (& Beth) Hall and Eugene Hall, both of Van Buren, AK, and George Hall of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Darian, Rylee, Desiree, Haley, Trenton, Jason, Brian, Alice, Iris, Raegan, William, Sheena, Tyler, Christian, Xavier, Becca, Shane, Kenny, Cassandra, and Courtney; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Genesis Hospice and his nurse Jeremy, for the wonderful and caring support they provided during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (October 27, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jim Dougan officiating. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.

His ashes will be laid to rest and buried at a later date.
