Rosalie M. "Sadie" McEndree, 63, of Quaker City, died Wednesday (October 6, 2010) at her home. She was born January 21, 1947 in Cambridge, daughter of Martha E. (Albaugh) Carpenter and the late Chester Carpenter. Mrs. McEndree worked for the East Guernsey School District, where she was a school bus driver for twenty-five years. She was Methodist by faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Glen McEndree of the home, whom she married May 22, 1965; her mother, Martha E. Carpenter; three sons, Bryan (& Julie) McEndree of Cambridge, Glen Michael (& Julie) McEndree of Piedmont, and Scott Jeffrey McEndree of Quaker City; a brother, Michael (& Linda) Carpenter of Cambridge; a sister, Judy Ann (& Ron) Antill of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Emily McEndree, Maddy McEndree, Holden McEndree, Chase McEndree, and Zachary Stubblefield; and several nieces & nephews, including, Jim (& Tracey) Antill, Jenny (& Chris) Brandt, Aaron (& Audra) Carpenter, Terissa (& Steve) Miller, Kelly (& John) Dunning, and Jason (& Lori) Brokaw. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will be held on Monday (October 11, 2010) at 11 a.m. with Karen Rawlins officiating.
