Rose M. Gray

Rose M. Gray, 78, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (April 17, 2007) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born on September 17, 1928 in Martins Ferry, daughter of the late Jonas Hutchison and Elizabeth (Sutherland) Hutchison Slay. Mrs. Gray worked for twenty-seven years at the Cambridge Developmental Center as a Psychiatric Aide. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gray, who died on February 19, 1985; a brother, Robert Hutchison; a sister, Evelyn Williams; and a granddaughter, Valerie Ball. She leaves a son, Randall (& Judi Roach) of Adamsville; two daughters, Sharon (& Rev. Dennis) Kelley of Fort Recovery and Billie (& Cliff) Ball of Byesville; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held Saturday (April 21, 2007) at 10 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, Cambridge, with Rev. Dennis Kelley officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
