Rosemary Peterson

Rosemary Peterson, 71, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (November 28, 2012) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born December 25, 1940 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Zackie Flowers and Juanita Lucille (Ransom) Flowers. Mrs. Peterson retired after twenty years at the Cambridge Developmental Center, where she had been a supervisor. She was a member of the Four-Mile Hill Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed camping & fishing. Mrs. Peterson was a 1958 graduate of Old Washington High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kate Earley; and a step-son, Carlos Peterson. She is survived by her husband, James Peterson, whom she married October 1, 1963; two sons, Doug (& Dawn Moore) Peterson of Cambridge and Troy (& Lisa Cooper) Peterson of Cambridge; a daughter, April (& Kevin) Massey of Cambridge; a step-son, James Peterson Jr. of Columbus; a step-daughter, Dr. Shelley Sanetti of Indianapolis IN; a brother, Randy (& Adele) Flowers of Cambridge; a sister, Yvonne Brown of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Brandon Peterson, Stephanie Massey, and Derrick Peterson; several step- grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Saturday (December 1, 2012) at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
