Rowena "Jane" Abicht

Rowena "Jane" Abicht, 73, of Byesville, formerly of Bonn OH, passed Saturday (June 3, 2017) at her home following an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 3, 1944 in Ashland, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mary Elizabeth (Baxter) Griffith. She married Joseph A. Abicht on June 23, 1991. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nancy Griffith Brown; her first husband, Phillip R. Vincent II; and a daughter-in-law, Denise Kysor. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Abicht; four sons, Keith Kysor of Kingman AZ, Larry (Donna) Kysor of Needles CA, Russ (Kristy) Vincent of Fleming and Tim (Kasia) Vincent of Marietta; three daughters, Chris (Jim) Green of Marietta, Kelly Tedrow (Chad Lykins) of Ashland, and Tiffany Vincent (Gene McKown) of Cambridge; a brother-in-law; Mike (Mimi) Abicht of Bonn; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a very special friend and caregiver, April Campbell of Cambridge. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday (June 5, 2017) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday (June 6, 2017). Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park in Marietta. Many thanks to Hospice of Guernsey for their outstanding care and support.
