Roy D. Taylor, 65, of Quaker City, died Thursday - December 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born June 19, 1953 in Massillon, son of the late John Howard Taylor and Mary ( Simmons ) Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a retired truck driver. He was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and farming.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Johnny Taylor.
He is survived by a son; Dakota Taylor of Quaker City, two daughters; Shania Taylor of Quaker City and Michelle Taylor of Old Washington, two brothers; Russell ( Pat ) Taylor of Indian Camp and Gene ( Kathy ) Taylor of Akron, a sister; Jeanette ( Jim ) Cronin, three grandchildren; Maverick, Kylee and Liberty, and his ex-wife; Connie Taylor of Quaker City.
Visitation will be held Friday - December 14, 2018 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City , where services will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating.
