Roy Dallas Wolfe

Roy Dallas Wolfe, 82, of Cambridge, died Saturday (February 21, 2015) at Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. He was born January 26, 1933 in Cambridge, son of the late John Wolfe and Edna (Hill) Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe was a mechanic. For the past twenty-eight years, he operated R & R Truck Repair with his son, Roy Dale Wolfe. He was a member of the Salt Fork Baptist Church. Mr. Wolfe served in the Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Charles, and Jack Wolfe; and five sisters, Dorothy Delforge, Helen Stevens, Edna Slifko, Thelma Wynn, and Violet Gatrell. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Jane (Morris) Wolfe of the home, whom he married on September 26, 1958; a son, Roy Dale (& Teresa) Wolfe of Cambridge; a daughter, Susan (& William) Larrison of Union KY; a brother, Russell Wolfe of North Salem; two sisters, Wilma Ross and Gladys Harper, both of Cambridge; eight grandchildren, Roy, Heather, Amber, Brittney, Kristen, Josh, William and Madison; and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (February 25, 2015) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Floyd Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow at Guernsey County Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
