Russell J. Fox

Russell J. Fox, 76, of Reynoldsburg, died Saturday (June 13, 2009) at his home. He was born in Zanesville, Oh. the son of the late Maxwell O. and Carrie Ballinger Fox. He was a newspaper pressman and was retired from the Columbus Dispatch. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a graduate of Lash High School class of 1950. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959. His hobbies were traveling and genealogy. He leaves his wife, Ruth Biedenbach Fox, who he married June 2, 1956; one sister, Julia Senter; 3 brothers, Ronald, Richard and Dennis Fox, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Maxwell, Leslie, Walter and Kenneth. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, 139 South 9th St. Cambridge, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Cambridge with Fr. Robert Borer as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cambridge.
