Ruth A. Bowers

Ruth A. Bowers, 74, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (May 26, 2009) at the Autumn Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born June 15, 1934 in Logan, daughter of the late Frank Campbell Sr. and Elizabeth (Settle) Campbell. She married Earl M. Bowers on June 29, 1952. Mrs. Bowers was an assembler for Ametek/March Electric. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 76 of Logan. She was Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, who died on February 9, 1999; and a sister. She is survived by two sons, David Earl (& Connie) Bowers of Biloxi MS and Russ (& Pam) Bowers of Plano TX; a daughter, Deborah (& Terry) Wehr of Barnesville; a brother, Frank (& Janice) Campbell of Youngstown; a sister, Mary Jane Bacus of Grove City; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Private family visitation and services will be held. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
