Ruth E. Coleman

Ruth E. Coleman, 86, of Cambridge, died Monday (April 3, 2017) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born August 19, 1930 in Noble County, daughter of the late John Heddleson and Mary Ellen (Ogle) Heddleson.

Mrs. Coleman had worked at RCA and then retired from NCR, where she had been an inspector.

She was a member of the Cambridge Eagles Aerie 386 Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn E. "Pete" Coleman, who died January 29, 2016; a son, Dale E. Coleman; two brothers, Bill Heddleson and Jim Heddleson; and two sisters, Mary Kohler and Marie Heddleson.

She is survived by a daughter, Kay (& Daniel J.) Robin of Cambridge; a brother, Frank Heddleson of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Rhonda (& John) Boyd of Cambridge and Jheri Scott of Plant City FL; four great-grandchildren, Emma (& Lantz) Patterson, Brittney Boyd, Dalton Boyd, and JT Boyd; and four great-great-grandchildren, Zane Taylor, Trinity Patterson, Isabelle Patterson, and Jameson Boyd.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (April 5, 2017) from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Slay officiating.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
