Ruth I. Knotts, 92, of Cambridge, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday (September 30, 2010) at the Beckett House at New Concord. She was born January 7, 1918 in Medina County, daughter of the late Larry Brown Price and Mary Etta Price. She married Wayne Leon Knotts on April 2, 1937. Mrs. Knotts was a homemaker and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, who died December 5, 2005; four infant sons; an infant grandson; and her siblings, Clara Homer, Earl Price, Bernard Price, Gerald Price, Brownie Price, Wilbert Price and Homer Price. She is survived by a son, Buddy "Wayne" (& Virginia) Knotts of Centerville; a daughter, Debbie Hinson of Cambridge; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (October 5, 2010) at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Barnesville, with Rev. Rodney West officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Barnesville, 94 Shady Lane, Barnesville OH 43713.
