Ruth E. Reynolds

Ruth E. Reynolds, 88, died Friday (July 24, 2009) at 12:05 a.m., surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born April 11, 1921 in Barnesville, daughter of the late Delbert Gallagher and Sadie (Shilling) Gallagher. She married William E. Reynolds on March 4, 1939. Mrs. Reynolds was an assembly line worker for many years at NCR. She loved bingo. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Cambridge Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Reynolds, who died June 11, 2006; a daughter, Marjorie Gregg; a son, Robert Reynolds; a grandson, Mitchell Gregg; and two sisters, Opal Lacroix and Inez Hashman. She is survived by a son, William (& Jan) Reynolds of Irvington KY; two daughters, Pamela (& Larry) Hivnor of Cambridge and Patricia Reynolds of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, Rachel Strasser, Diana Lanning, Billy Reynolds, Bryant Reynolds, Bobby Reynolds, Katie & Abby Hivnor; and nine great grandchildren, Alex Strasser, Greg Strasser, Kayla Reynolds, Kelsie Reynolds, Maezie Lanning, Tristen Reynolds, Maya Reynolds, Devon Reynolds and Jackson Reynolds. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Monday (July 27, 2009) at 10 a.m. with Evang. Woody Biggs officiating. Burial will be at Salesville Cemetery.
