Ruth A. Seeley

Ruth A. Seeley, 80, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (April 26, 2017) at her home.

She was born November 11, 1936 in Weymouth, daughter of the late Ambrose J. Flynn and Pearl A. (Kiesling) Flynn.

Mrs. Seeley had been an executive secretary at Castle Homes for many years.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Cambridge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Seeley, who died January 21, 1999.  They were married July 23, 1955.  Also deceased are five brothers, James Flynn, Harold Flynn, Robert Flynn, Ambrose Flynn, and David Flynn; and nine sisters, Eileen Flynn, Dorothy Shirey, Betty Buckingham, Rosemary Birkbeck, Shirley Flickinger, Mary Jane Flynn, Marion Dobbins, and Beverly Steele.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Dawn (& Lt. Col. Michael) Kessler of Everett WA, Shawn (& James) Dohony of Wooster, and Harry Robert (& Carol) Seeley II of Cambridge; her stepchildren, Debra Ann (& Jeff) Betzing of Akron and Tina Marie (& Robert) Staggs of Wooster; nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, James (& Robin) Seeley of Mogadore.

No calling hours will be observed.

Private graveside services were held for the family at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.  Pastor Everett Stoddard officiated.
