Ruth H. Taylor

Ruth H. Taylor, 57, of St. Clairsville, died Friday (April 2, 2010) at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling WV. She was born April 3, 1952 in Buffalo NY, daughter of the late Francis Curtis Ice and Emma M. (Johnson) Ice. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. She cherished playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing the computer game "Chuzzle". She also loved shopping. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Phillips and Patricia Ice; and a brother, Daniel Ice. She is survived by a son, Leroy C. (& Denise) Brown Jr. of Zanesville; a daughter, Delores (& Robert) Chase of Cambridge; a brother, Frances Ice of California; a sister, Marcelline (& Ron) Hall of Zanesville; a granddaughter, Brittany Brown; a grandson, Brandon Brown; and several nieces & nephews, including a special niece who helped take care of her, April (& Juan) Gonzales of Zanesville. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (April 6, 2010) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
