Sabina Christine Rhoades

Sabina Christine Rhoades, 79, of Kimbolton, died Thursday (February 5, 2015) at her home. She was born August 8, 1935 in Glade WV, daughter of the late Rex Lewis Sullivan and Ellena Mae (Adkins) Sullivan. Mrs. Rhoades was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Davis G. Rhoades, who died in 1990; three sons, Roger Armstrong, Lewis Dean Armstrong, and Stevie Ray Rhoades; and a daughter, Deborah Christine Calvert. She is survived by two sons, George Armstrong of Kimbolton and Terry Lee (& Byrda) Armstrong of Kimbolton; a daughter, Deloras (& Edward) Devine of Akron; a daughter-in-law, Melody Armstrong; fourteen grandchildren, including a special grandson, Davis (& Leanne) Armstrong of North Salem; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge Graveside services and burial will be held Monday (February 9, 2015) at 1 p.m. at Kimbolton Cemetery.
