Sally Jo Yarnell

Sally Jo Yarnell, 77, of Cambridge, went to be with the Lord and with the love of her life, Harry, on Thursday (February 25, 2016). She was born March 20, 1938 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Floyd R. Webb and Margarett (Clark) Webb-Potts. Mrs. Yarnell had worked at the former NCR and RCA. She also owned Yarnell Trucking with her husband, Harry, where she had served as vice-president. Her family meant the world to her - she loved spending time with and cooking for her family and grandchildren. She was extremely dedicated to her marriage and her family. She cared for her ailing husband for several years. Mrs. Yarnell attended the Madison Full Gospel Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Yarnell, who died February 3, 2009. They were married August 25, 1962. Also deceased is an infant son, Brent Yarnell; an infant daughter, Angel Yarnell; and her stepfather, Harold Potts. She is survived by three sons, Danny (& Sue) Yarnell of Pickerington, Brad Dennis of Cambridge, and Bryan Dennis of Freeport; four daughters, Margee (& Kenny) Abrams of Cambridge, Debbie DeBoard of Circleville, Melissa (& Scott) Saffell of Cambridge, and Susan Nichols (& Stacy Moore) of Freeport; two brothers, Gene Webb and Paul Potts of Cambridge; and a sister, Ruth Willis of Alabama; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (March 2, 2016) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Long. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
