Sam H. Yoder, 48, of 60830 Shannon Run Road, Quaker City, died at 12:50 p.m. on Monday (July 5, 2010) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, following a battle with cancer. He was born August 29, 1961 in Middlefield to the late Homer and Nannie Yoder. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mullet-Yoder, whom he married October 9, 1980; six sons, John (Malinda) of Salesville, Samuel Jr., Lester, Robert, James and Marty of the home; three daughters, Ruthie (Danny) Schrock of Quaker City, Miriam (Stephen) Swartz of Quaker City and Cindy of the home; sixteen grandchildren; four brothers; and seven sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a stillborn daughter. Services will be held Thursday (July 8, 2010) at 9:30 a.m. at the family home (60830 Shannon Run Road, Quaker City), where friends may call at any time. Burial will be at The Amish Cemetery, Salesville.
