Sandra Kay Dunlap

On Sunday (June 6, 2021), Sandra Kay Dunlap, loving mother of three children, passed away at the age of 69 at the Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.

She was born on February 16, 1952 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Alexander F. Miller and Mildred L. (Corbett) Miller.

She worked in the restaurant industry in Cambridge for many years.

She raised three sons, Steve, Jason Sr., and Jas.

Sandra enjoyed going to church on Sundays, worshipping God, reading her Bible, praising God, and praying for others – this is what made her happy.  She was a light to so many people.

She loved to feed and watch her hummingbirds every year while she sat on her porch drinking coffee.  She also loved taking care of her cat, Mr. Wiggles, and gardening.

Sandra cherished spending time with her family and looked forward to every holiday that would bring them together.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert Steven (Judith) Dunlap Sr. of Cambridge, Jason Bradley Dunlap Sr. of Cambridge, and Jason Bradley (Robin) Dunlap Jr. of Virginia; two grandchildren, Robert Steven (Sarah) Dunlap Jr. of Kimbolton and Sharise Chantelle Dunlap of Zanesville; two great-grandchildren, Sawyer Lee Dunlap and Shayne Elizabeth Dunlap; two nieces, Anna (John) Luczak and Paula Etling; three great-nieces; and many cousins that she loved dearly.

Memorial visitation hours will be held on Wednesday (June 9, 2021) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Dustin Deike officiating.
