Sandra (Brock) Kellstadt

Sandra Elaine (Brock) Kellstadt, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Ohio State University East.

She was born on November 17, 1936, in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Ralph and Goldie (Durben) Brock.

Sandra was a graduate of Cambridge High School and The Ohio State University, where she earned her degree in Nursing. She also graduated from, Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was a member of both Cambridge Faith United Methodist Church and Harvest Christian Fellowship, where she loved teaching and sharing what God was showing her. A devoted follower of Christ, she was an avid reader who continually sought to grow in her faith and understanding of God, right up to her final days.

Sandra's passing marks the end of an era, a heartbreaking loss that echoes through her family. She was the glue that bound them together with her love, devotion, and spiritual guidance.

She found joy in reading, learning, collecting seashells on beach vacations, sharing laughter with her family and friends, and a good game of cards or Monopoly. She cherished time outdoors, soaking in the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, tending to her garden, and watching the birds, especially her favorite, "Big Red."

Holidays and birthdays were treasured times when she kept family traditions alive by hosting gatherings filled with warmth and love.

Sandra was a true Christian and a teacher of the ways of Jesus. She often said that faith was about having a relationship with Him. She looked forward to meeting her Savior and reuniting with family and friends who had gone before her. She wanted everyone to know that Jesus was, and is, the most faithful one.

Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, empathy, love for others, and selflessness will remain etched in our hearts forever.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kellstadt (December 2, 2023); her daughter, Kristine Kellstadt; and her sister, Sharon (Brock, Thompson) Griffith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karla (Kellstadt) Ewart and Kim (Kellstadt) Freeman (Jess); four grandchildren, Joshua (Emily) Ewart, Abigail (Ewart) Ezzeldin (Moe), Janelle Kellstadt, and Danielle Kellstadt; and two great-grandchildren, Alia and Charlie.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
