Sandra K. Preece

Sandra K. Preece, 74, of Cambridge, died Monday (January 1, 2018) at The Beckett House at New Concord, surrounded by her family. She was born May 29, 1943 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Robert L. Klass and Norma E. (Watkins) Klass. Ms. Preece had worked at Westinghouse and the Cambridge IGA. She enjoyed gardening and sunning by the pool. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Preece. She is survived by a son, Brent (& Linda) Preece of Cambridge; three daughters, Vickie Raptis of Cambridge, Dana (& Scott) Soter of Zanesville, and Nicole (& Rob) Neff of Dayton; two sisters, Judy Ford of Cambridge and Bobbi (& Bob) Kafury of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Quinten, Gabriel, Kendal, Trent, Jarid, Jessica, Alec, Isabella, and Destin; her great-grandchildren, Regan, Keane, Caleb, and Slater; and her companion, David Lagneaux. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Sandra's name to the Guernsey County Animal Shelter, 62824 Bennett Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725.
