Sara Jo Cross

Sara Jo Cross, 22, of Cambridge passed away Saturday (May 4, 2013) at her home. She was born May 15, 1990 in Cambridge and was the daughter of Kevin (Rhonda) Cross of Caldwell and Beth (Lucas) Cross of Cambridge. Sara was a 2009 graduate of Cambridge High School, a State certified S.T.N.A., and was employed at Tractor Supply. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoors, country music and loved the farm life. She was preceded in death by Maternal grandfather George Lucas; Paternal grandfather Eugene Cross; one Aunt Kelly Lucas; one uncle Jeff Cross. In addition to her parents she is survived by her two year old daughter Ashlyn Jo Kennedy; two brothers, Seth Cross of Cambridge and Nathan Abbott of Caldwell; two sisters, Stephanie and Jackie Cross both of Caldwell; Maternal grandmother Joyce Lucas of Cambridge; Paternal grandmother Mildred Racey of Caldwell; Aunts, Cindy Wells of Cambridge, Cheryl Cross and Karen (Jim) McGilton both of Caldwell and Uncle Doug (Vicky) Cross of Caldwell; and longtime companion Jeffrey Kennedy of Kimbolton; special friends, Tasha, Ashley and Trent; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 -11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will be in MT. Hermon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Thorn-Black Funeral Home, 139 S. 9th St., Cambridge, Ohio 43725 to assist the family.
