Sarah Pearl (Webb) Clover

Sarah Pearl (Webb) Clover, 84, died Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Cambridge Place Assisted Living in Cambridge.

She was born August 30, 1938, daughter of the late Harry Webb and Alice Redmon Hobson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Charley Clover, whom she married on December 5, 1964, and who passed away on September 29, 2008, and a brother, Richard Webb.

Sarah worked for Bank One and  Consumer Credit Counseling in Zanesville, and had most recently worked for Buckeye Tours. Sarah volunteered throughout her life for the Hospice "Onbudsman" program in Illinois, was a member of the Pilot Club for brain injury awareness in Cambridge, and Cambridge Singers.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Sarah was a 1956 graduate of Paris High School, Paris Illinois.

She enjoyed traveling, helping others, often placing the needs of others above her own.  The family knew her as the 'cool' grandma.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Clover and Julie (& David) Powers, both of Cambridge; five brothers, Bill Webb of Paris, IL, Joe (& Brigid) Webb of St. Charles IL, Bob (& Kathy) Webb of Boca Raton, Fl, Mike (& Miki) Hobson of Paris, IL, and Charles (& Nancy) Hanna of Chicago, IL; a sister, Judy (& Tracy) Rush of Paris, IL; three grandchildren, Makenzie Clover, Shelby Fitzgerald, Zak Powers; four great-grandchildren, Zoe and Mia Fitzgerald and Athena and Atlas Hewison; many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, from to 6pm to 8pm at Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.  Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, at 10am, with Dr. Mark Ballmer officiating.  Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge.

The family would like to thank the staff of Cambridge Place Assisted Living, and Hospice of Guernsey for the loving care Sarah received over the past few months.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sarah's name to Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, OH., 43725.
