Scott Allen Rummell

Scott Allen Rummell, 47, of Cambridge, died Sunday (January 4, 2015) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, after an eighteen-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born October 23, 1967 in Cambridge, son of Bernadine (English) Rummell and the late Jay William Rummell. Mr. Rummell had worked for Ames Plastics for many years. He was a 1987 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. Mr. Rummell was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Cambridge. He loved spending time with his children. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Rummell. He is survived by his mother, Bernadine Rummell of Cambridge; a son, Tyler Allen Rummell of Cambridge; a daughter, Chelsea Renee Rummell of Zanesville; two brothers, William (& Connie) Rummell of Cambridge and Jay (& Kimberly) Rummell of Cambridge; two sisters, Debbie (& Steve) Fulle of Michigan and Kim (& Tom) Stewart of Cambridge; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (January 9, 2015) at 3 p.m.
