Sharman Milligan

Sharman Milligan, 68, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (March 15, 2016) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born January 9, 1948 in Cambridge, daughter of Evelyn (Fowler) Hessin and the late Kenneth Siens. Ms. Milligan was a graduate of Cambridge High School and Ohio University-Zanesville. She worked as a registered nurse and later became the director of homemaking at Guernsey County Senior Center. She was Presbyterian by faith. Ms. Milligan loved shopping. She was an avid reader and a beautiful knitter. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Siens. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Hessin of Cambridge; a sister, Martha "Mitzi" Spencer of Cambridge; a brother, David (& Carol) Pitts of Sanger CA; two nephews, Thadeus Spencer of Cambridge - whom she was very close to and Jason (& Penny) Pitts of California; a niece, Jamie (& Abel) Cabella of California; three great-nephews; and three great-nieces. Graveside services and burial will be held Saturday (March 19, 2016) at 11:30 a.m. at Halley's Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Keith Leach officiating.
