Shaun L. Lajiness

Shaun L. Lajiness, 43, of Cambridge, died Saturday (September 11, 2021) at Southeastern Med.

He was born May 23, 1978 in Temperance MI, son of the late Cornelius Lee Lajiness and Joyce (Gang) Lajiness.

A 1996 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School, Mr. Lajiness was the owner of Nightstalker Trucking and was a truck driver.

He loved tubing and boating with his son, fishing, and being outdoors.  He loved spending time with his wife and son over the road.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Lajiness.

He is survived by his wife, Karla (Dunikowski) Lajiness, whom he married July 23, 2014; a son, Kaleb A. Lajiness of the home; a stepson, Michael Porter of Soddy Daisy TN; four brothers, Mark (Zannita) Lowe of Baltimore MD, Curtis Lajiness of Indianapolis IN, Dennis Potts of Cambridge, and Donald (Amy) Gordon of Cambridge; a sister, Julie Truss of Toledo; a brother-in-law, Richard Dunikowski; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday (September 16, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Evang. Woody Biggs officiating.
