Shelby J. Law

Shelby J. Law, 62, of Cambridge, died Sunday (August 18, 2013) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born February 4, 1951 in Giles County VA, daughter of the late Joshua Cawley and Edith (Snyder) Cawley. Mrs. Law had worked at Bendix Automotive, Express Packaging, and the Beckett House at New Concord. She was STNA certified. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and angels. She liked to read Stephen King novels. She also enjoyed going to yard sales. She is survived by her husband, James Law, whom she married June 19, 1966; two sons, James B. Law Jr. (& Denise Britton) of Cambridge and Jesse A. (& Bobbie L.) Law of Cambridge; a daughter, Lori A. Price of Cambridge; three sisters, Colitta Sue Fisher, Carolyn Ann Brewer, and Barbara White all of Virginia; nine grandchildren, Kayla Law, Billy Law, Brandyn Law, Ira Wolverton Earley, Crisa Earley, Rickie Hess, RyAnn Law, Aleena Law, and Quinten Law; a step-grandchild, Jaiden Wheeler; a great-grandchild, Katelyn Siddle; and a daughter-in-law, Rose Law of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Friday (August 23, 2013) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m.
