Shirley Louise Balo, 54, of Cambridge went home to be with the Lord Thursday (March 7, 2013). She was born April 29, 1958 in Dennison and was the daughter of Betty Gene (Gibson) Rose of Kimbolton and the late John Lake Rose. Mrs. Balo was a department manager at Wal-Mart. She was a member of North Salem Community Church, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading, bingo and most of all she loved her family. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her step-father Jimmy Rose. Along with her mother she is survived by her husband Todd Balo whom she married August 2003; three sons, Issac, Michael and Roy Smith all of Cambridge; one daughter Melissa Smith of Cambridge; eight brothers, Donnie (Nancy) Rose, Tom (Marsha) Rose Daryl (Joan) Rose, Jessie Rose, John Rose and Jeffrey Rose all of Kimbolton, Charlie (Cheryl) West Virginia and Paul (Angela) Rose of Kimbolton; five sisters, Mary (Russell) Foraker of Zanesville, Sharon (Lee) Weyandt of Dundee, Rebecca Rose of Cambridge, Judy (Michael) Joseph and JoAnn (Paul) Poole both of Kimbolton; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Flat Ridge Community Church where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Simms officiating. Burial will be in Flat Ridge Cemetery.
