Shirley H. Hull, 84, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (January 15, 2014) at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation, Cambridge. She was born February 25, 1929 in Quaker City, daughter of the late Homer I. Hartley and Martha E. (Louhoff) Hartley. Ms. Hull was an assembler for the former Hamilton Beach Company. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, and reading. Ms. Hull was a Quaker by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, William E. Brokaw and Robert P. Brokaw; a brother, Chester Hartley Sr.; a sister, Naoma L. Brill; and a grandson, Eric Brokaw. She is survived by a son, James (& Loretta) Brokaw of Cambridge; a daughter, Londa Baird (& Doug Wilson) of Byesville; four grandchildren, Heather (& Andy) Colvin of Cambridge, Ryan (& Lacey) Brokaw of South Carolina, Jerid Baird (& Grace Garner) of Lore City, and Rae (& Rick) Pryjda of Lancaster; seven great-grandchildren, Lane Colvin, Wade Colvin, Eric Brokaw, Alec Brokaw, Kolton Baird, Bayler Pryjda, and Collins Pryjda; and several nieces & nephews, including Jane Brill of Roanoke VA. Private services were held for the family with burial following at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
