Shirley Ann Patterson

Shirley Ann Patterson, 58, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at her home.

Shirley was born on January 24, 1964, in Sidney, Ohio, a daughter to the late Clifford Hughes and Shirley (Painter) Daughtery.

She was a Cambridge High School graduate where she was a cheerleader. Shirley worked at the former Cambridge State Hospital for seventeen years. She was Penecostal by Faith. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, volunteering at the schools while her kids were young, and most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids and her beloved dog, Baby.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nephews, Cody Morris and CJ Pitt.

Left to cherish Shirley's memory are her sons, Jason (Rebekka) Patterson of Cambridge, and Joseph (April) Patterson of Salesville, her stepfather, Dan Daughtery of Cambridge, her brother, Tony Hughes of New Concord, her sister, Tonya Hughes of New Concord, her roommate, Angela Smith of Cambridge, five grandchildren, Liz, Breanna, Trinity, Julia, and Alyssah, along with several nieces and nephews, and her fur baby, Baby.

Shirley was the most kind-hearted, loving person you could ever meet. She would do anything for anyone and had a heart of gold. Shirley was always there to be a mom for anyone who needed her.

Per Shirley's wishes, there will be no funeral services held at this time.
