Shirley M. Stillion

Shirley M. Stillion, 82, of Salesville went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday (January 12, 2020) at Genesis Healthcare.

She was born November 22, 1937 in Romney, WV and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Oma (Fultz) Hott.

Mrs. Stillion retired from the Guernsey County Home after several years of service.  She was a member of Living Water Fellowship Church.  Shirley enjoyed spending time with her great grandbabies and her church family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty eight years, Danny Dean Stillion, whom she married December 31, 1970 and passed away May 10, 1998; two brothers, Leroy and Donald Hott.

She is survived by one son Rick (Denise) Kehl of Senecaville; two grandchildren, Joshua (Tiffany) Kehl of Cumberland and Danielle (Josè) Fuentes of Wheeling, WV; five great grandchildren, Amiah, Abren, Lucas, Alyas and Chace; five sisters-in-law, Ruby Hott, Maxine (Alan) Eagon, Eileen (Vernon) Hall, Martha Stillion and Mary Stillion; several nieces and nephews; special friend Harold Eschbaugh.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Walker and Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in Salesville Cemetery.
