Shirley "Marlene" (Yanosik), 78, of Salesville, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at her home.

Marlene was born November 4, 1944, in Cambridge, Ohio, a daughter to the late John and Lois Alberta (Baker) Yanosik Sr.

She loved and cared for all her family. She enjoyed watching Nascar and loved her dog, Teddy. Marlene was the co owner of Bill's Towing and worked at NCR. She was a member of Central Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Lippert whom she married August 11, 1962 and who passed December 08, 2020; one sister, Florence Ann Crawford; and a daughter in law, Tammie Lippert.

Marlene is survived by three sons William Allen (Shawn White) Lippert, Terry Lee (Lorrie) Lippert, and Jerry Dale Lippert, all of Salesville; one brother Johnny Michael (Sue) Yanosik of Quaker City; and four grandchildren, Cody (Kara Koscoe) Lippert, Brandon Lippert, Dillon Lippert, and Tara (Zach Brownfield) Lippert. Also left to cherish her memory are five great- grandchildren, Lucas Lippert, Kenlee Lippert, Karter Lippert, Koa Lippert, and Marlee Brownfield.

There will be calling hours Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 2-8PM, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11 AM with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh and Pastor Perry Baranich officiating. Burial will be held at Salesville Cemetery.
