Stella Jean Glover, 82, of Lore city, passed at her home on Saturday (Dec. 1, 2012). She was born April 24, 1930, in Mannington, W.Va., daughter of the late Otis Lee and Tabitha (Varner) Stull. Mrs. Glover was a domestic engineer. She played music for over 20 years with the Fairchild Band at many local nursing homes. She was a member of the Center Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Carroll Stull. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence L. Glover, whom she married May 27, 1950; a son, Bruce (Christine) Glover of Quaker City; three daughters, Deborah Bunner of Lore City, Elaine Becket of Cambridge and Robin (Lou) Kapolka of Senecaville; one sister, Ruby (Furman) Stout of Mannington, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary Stull of Mannington, W.Va.; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Visitation will Tuesday be at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Carol Touvell officiating. Burial will follow in the Guernsey Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Guernsey or the Alzheimer's Association.
