Susan C. Myers, 70, of Cambridge, died Friday (November 18, 2011) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born April 6, 1941 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Edward Willkomm and Helen (Falkowsky) Willkomm. Mrs. Myers retired from the Guernsey County Children's Home, where she had worked as a cook for many years. She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish (St. Benedict Catholic Church). She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Myers Jr.; and two sisters, Judy Knight and Mary Lou Towell. She is survived by three sons, Mark (& Audrey) Myers of Marengo, Greg (& Catherine) Myers of Edgewood KY, and Jeff Myers of Tucson AZ; two daughters, Marcia Doebereiner of Westerville and Jeanine (& Steve) Marlatt of Cambridge; two brothers, John (& Cathy) Willkomm of Pepper Pike and Edward (& Mary) Willkomm of Avon Lake; five sisters, Sister Marcia Willkomm of Gainesville FL, Rosemary (& John) Wagner of Homestead FL, Linda (& Rich) Knipper of Avon Lake, Anita (& Bill) Pellegrin of Austin TX, and Tina (& Jeff) Morsfield of Minot ND; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where wake services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (November 22, 2011) at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
