Susann Christine Johnson, 78, of Cambridge, died Thursday (September 13, 2007) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on March 31, 1929 in Harrison County OH, daughter of the late Mary (Stevens) Ford. Mrs. Johnson worked at March Electric, Dutch Pantry and also was a telephone operator for GTE. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid Broncos fan. She also enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Johnson was a 1947 graduate of Madison High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Johnson, who died in 1998; her mother and step-father, Mary (Stevens) Ford and William Ford; a brother, Lawrence Howell; and several step-brothers & step-sisters. She leaves five sons, Jeffery B. (& Debra) Leonard of Old Washington, Mark A. Johnson of Byesville, Wayne M. (& Kathy) Johnson of Newark, L. Neil Johnson of Cambridge and D. Wesley (& Karen) Johnson of Circleville; a daughter, Lori (& Armen) McNerlin of Farmington NM; a sister-in-law, Francis Howell of Cambridge; six grandchildren, Susan, Ryan, Sarah, Joseph, Olivia and Cassandra; and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Saturday (September 15, 2007) from 2 to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Englewood CO.
