Sylvia Milligan

Sylvia A. Milligan, 70, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (March 12, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born April 14, 1942 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Lonnie Remley Sr. and Naomi (Crantz) Remley. Mrs. Milligan was a member of the Cambridge Women of the Moose, Byesville American Legion, and Byesville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Ohio State football and enjoyed life itself. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Milligan, who died June 27, 2008; three brothers; a sister; and her best friend, Mary Fair Thompson. She is survived by three sisters, Carol Kelly of Arizona, Helen Headley of Cambridge, and Ruth Walls of Cambridge; a brother, Robert Remley of Kentucky; many nieces & nephews; and Mary Horton of Cambridge, whom she considered as a second mother. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday (March 26, 2013) at 2 p.m. at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
