Tamara "Tammy" Sue Hollins, 50, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday (July 18, 2010) at Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. She was born September 10, 1959, daughter of Barbara J. (Todd) Hollins and the late Frederick "Freddie" N. L. Hollins Sr. Tammy was a registered nurse for over thirty years. She worked at Genesis for many years and also served as Director of Nursing for many hospitals and nursing homes. She was a private consultant for many family members and friends. She enjoyed reading Stephen King books and talking with her friends. She cherished spending time with her children and her granddaughter. She will be missed by all. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Ray Hollins; and an aunt, Beverly J. Fisher. She is survived by her mother, Barbara J. Hollins of Cambridge; a daughter, Alexis Kaye Crawford; a son, James Leonard "JR" Crawford Jr.; a granddaughter, Zakirah Shawntae Marie Smith; four sisters, Roxanne Hollins of Lansing MI, Nanci (Merle) Glass Sr. of Cambridge, Frederika (Ernest) Phillips of Cambridge and Leona "Dee" Hollins (Henry Phillips) of Cambridge; two brothers, Frederick N. L. Hollins Jr. of Cambridge and Kevin (Wilma) Hollins of Cambridge; a special aunt, Patricia Todd; several nieces including Diedra (Martae) and Tavionna; several nephews including DeMikeal and Javon; and many special friends. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (July 21, 2010) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
