Terry Adam Dragosin, 65, went home to be with the lord on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Terry passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 29, 1951 and was raised in Lore City, Ohio. He graduated from Meadowbrook High School and the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree. He was well known and respected in the architectural systems industry having worked many years at Centria in Cambridge, and retiring from Benchmark Architectural Systems in Columbus.
He was one of three sons born to Kathleen (Hill) and the late Charles A. Dragosin, and the beloved husband of Brenda (Chute) Dragosin for nearly 38 years.
In addition to his wife and mother, Terry will be remembered and sadly missed by his cherished daughters Stacey (Joseph) Snider and Tiffany (Justin) Stoolfire, both of New Concord; his treasured grandchildren Mason Adam, Porter Joseph, Brielle Nicole, Keaton Daniel, and Rogan Jacob Snider; and Adelle Kaelyn and Brinley Justine Stoolfire; his thoughtful brother Jeff (Susie) Dragosin; his loving sister-in-law Lynn (Dave) Marks; caring brother-in-law Edmund (Marie) Chute; special niece "Uncle Angie" Moore; his faithful canine companion Rascal; and countless other family members and friends who were blessed to know him.
In addition to his father, he has joined his brother and best friend Jerry Dragosin in Heaven.
Terry had strong faith in Jesus throughout his life and confirmed that faith two years ago when he was baptized at North Terrace Church of Christ. Terry was known for his intelligence and business savvy, but it was his love for his family that truly defined him. He cherished the little things- weekly Friday pizza nights, treating his whole family to dinner at the Forum, yearly summer vacations to Ocean City with everyone together in a condo on the beach. His children were his life until he had grandbabies. He would have done anything in the world for them and they will never forget his love for them. Terry was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan and had a passion for music, spending many hours singing "Oldie Goldies" with his wife. He will also be remembered for his trademark sense of humor and his powerful laugh that could fill any room.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 2 from 5-8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, 139 S 9th Street, Cambridge. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with old friend David Cater officiating. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Cambridge.
