Terry Pyers Jr.

Terry Pyers Jr., 38, of Lore City, died Friday (Dec. 12, 2008) as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Sept. 25, 1970, in Shelby, son of Terry (Linda) Pyers Sr., of Lake Port, Calif., and Brenda (James) Taylor of Cambridge. Mr. Pyers was a 2007 graduate of Zane State College in machine and engineering. He was a journeyman machinist at Anchor Glass Container. He enjoyed collecting and working on cars. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Audrey Burkhart of Mansfield; two brothers, John (Nicole) Pyers of Indianapolis and Seth (Tammy) Pyers of Cambridge; three sisters, Heather (Daniel) Robertson, Francis (Dave) Peoples, all of Cambridge and Betsy Michener of Porterville, Calif; three step-brothers, Scott Schindler of San Diego, Calif., Scott Hibbs and Jamie Hibbs of Cambridge; a step-sister, Heather Johnston of Cambridge; seven nephews and eight nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday (December 16, 2008) with the Rev. Kirk Gable officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
