Terry W. Mcgath

Terry Wayne McGath, 65, of Cambridge, died suddenly at his home of natural causes. He was born October 1, 1941 in Darlington PA, son of the late Charles McGath and Leola (Callahan) McGath. Mr. McGath was an avid sports enthusiast, especially a Steelers and Ohio State fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon McGath; a brother, Willis McGath; and a sister, June Marshall. He leaves his wife, Debbie (Galbreath) McGath of the home, whom he married on September 2, 1978; two sons, Robert Showalter (and Rachel Reid) of Pleasant City, and Travis McGath (and Wen Tung) of Columbus; two daughters, Freda Potts and Christina Showalter both of Cambridge; a sister, Janice (& Eugene) Weaver of Byesville; and two grandchildren, Michael and Erica. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held at this time.
